Competition results

On 25th – 26th January 2010 in Leon Wyczółkowski State School of Art in Bydgoszcz the jury of the international painting and graphic art competition “Colors and Sounds – Fryderyk Chopin in memoriam” evaluated 915 works (722 paintings 143 graphic works). The jury of the competition:

Piotr Gojowy – Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń
Piotr C. Kowalski – Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań
Bogdan Miga – Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow
Maria Targońska – Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk
Lech Wolski – Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń

The jury awarded six art works (three in painting and 3 in graphics). The winning works have been singled out for their inventiveness, creativity, high quality of workmanship and expression of personal impressions triggered by Fryderyk Chopin’s music.
